​My commitment to musical excellence is grounded in both practical experience and formal academic achievement. For seven years, I taught in a school, where I maintained a 100% pass rate for all students undertaking formal singing examinations. This success is built on ensuring technical precision, fostering musicality, and building student confidence in performance settings.

Beyond the classroom, I have cultivated a broad spectrum of experience, including 12 years of successful private singing tuition. I was also a choral director of "Out of the Shadows" choir for three years, and can provide valuable experience in ensemble singing.

Academically, I hold a Licentiate in Classical Singing (LTCL) and am currently pursuing my FRSM (Fellowship), demonstrating a commitment to advanced study and the highest professional standards in vocal pedagogy.

Crucially, I also bring specialist knowledge in vocal health and communication. For the past year, I have been working within a SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) unit in Bury St Edmunds. This valuable experience was undertaken specifically to gain a deeper practical understanding of speech and language therapy (SALT) techniques. This knowledge allows me to approach breathing, resonance, and articulation with a therapeutic awareness, making my teaching particularly effective for students facing vocal or confidence challenges or those simply seeking robust vocal technique foundations.

I teach a variety of styles of singing including Operatic, Classical, French and Italian Song, German Lieder, Musical Theatre, Jazz and Pop.
